Audition Workshop
Studio 180 Dance will host an Audition Workshop, Monday July 25th, 10am-3pm.
Auditioning is an important part of being a dancer and a performer. Because the audition process is often grueling dancers, interested in becoming competitive or professional, need to have an accurate understanding of what to expect and how to successfully complete an audition .
Our workshop is designed to help dancers planning to tryout for local, regional or national parts as well as dancers who would like to audition for the Studio 180 Dance Team. The workshop leaders will help dancers prepare physically and mentally for competitive environments and offer tips on what to expect at different types of auditions, how to effectively present yourself, and helpful information about picking up choreography. Our guest speakers are professional dancers who have been through or are going through the process themselves.
